Philanthropy: It’s In Our Genes!
The St. Helena Hospital Foundation was established in 1987 with the mission to provide the highest quality of care for Napa Valley residents and neighboring communities through fundraising and philanthropic activities. The Foundation, led by its Board of Directors who serve as vital community advocates, has raised over $90 million to fund the latest equipment and technology, and obtain the finest medical team to provide an elevated health care experience for patients. With a rich legacy of giving since the hospital’s inception in 1878, donations have allowed for St. Helena Hospital to remain at its best, providing top quality care in the region.

A Message from President and CEO, Stephen Lundin
Welcome to our community of giving! Since 1878, St. Helena Hospital has responded to the needs of Napa Valley residents while steadily moving into the future. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are able to provide innovative and compassionate health care with the latest technology and a top-rated medical team. Through your donations, the community has made stories like these possible:
- Advanced Cardiac Care — As the leading cardiac care program in our area, the Heart & Vascular Center offers advanced cardiovascular surgery technology and services and has been awarded the “Best Overall Cardiac Hospital” in the North Bay/North Coast region according to HealthGrades.
- Revolutionizing Cancer Treatment — Our community has funded a multi-million dollar Cancer Center that boasts state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge treatment options staffed by an experienced team dedicated to clinical excellence and lifting the patient experience.
- Caring for the Future — Completed in 2016, hospital renovations provide advanced care to more patients via a new Family Birth Center, updated Patient Rooms and Lobby, modernized Sterilization Equipment, remodeled Medical Surgical Unit, an expanded Heart and Vascular Wing, Orthopedic Wing, and Intensive Care Unit.
Your generous donation will ensure that the ever-changing and expanding medical needs of our community and beyond will continue to be met. If you would like to make a difference, please consider making a donation, one that means the most to you. Your generous gift will help save lives.
